About The Teacher:
Ever since I was a little girl I knew that I wanted to teach children. Thirty years later, I am elated to say, I STILL LOVE what I do! This will be my 18th year at Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor K-8 Center. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education, a Master's Degree in Mathematics, National Board Certification, and I am Gifted and ESOL endorsed.
My philosophy is that my students are “my children” and I wouldn’t treat them any differently than I would treat my own children. They will be my priority and their well-being will always come first. I also believe in “quality” vs. “quantity” when it comes to class work and home learning. I will challenge my students so they may grow academically, as well as socially, so that they are capable of being the leaders of tomorrow.
On a personal note, I recently celebrated my 29th year wedding anniversary. My husband, Alex, and I are the proud parents of two wonderful children, Gabriella and Christian. The family would not be complete without our, Luna, our adorable Shih Tzu.
I look forward to having another wonderful year with my Bobcat family.
